JOB ROLE & DUTIES: As the Kitchen Manager, it is your duty to understand and manage all of the inner workings of the Great Dane Kitchen and Food Program. You will work closely with a team of managers, both FOH & BOH, to ensure everything runs smoothly and that you’re providing the best experience to the customers.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

Managing a team of nearly 30 BOH people
Train and oversee BOH team including hiring, onboarding, training & development
Oversee systems compliance of prep procedures, line checks, cleaning duties
Ensuring each day has the proper staffing for successful shift operations
Payroll oversight
Responding to guest feedback
Performing daily Administrative tasks in communication with our accountant
Ensuring location mechanicals and are in working order or repair
Communication of all pertinent information in and out of your location to fellow management, staff, and Administration of the Great Dane
BOH specific ordering, inventory, and cost control duties
Manage in partnership, and with oversight of the General Manager and Executive Team to ensure all BOH operations are performed up to Health Dep & Great Dane standards.
Understanding of & participation in monthly budgetary goals, financials, and the ability to adjust operations to achieve said goals.

NECESSARY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ Years of BOH Hospitality Management experience
ServSafe® Manager Certification a plus but not required
Strong professional communication and computer skills for ordering systems, company emails & blogs, and excel programs.
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Strong leadership & people managing skills

$55k-$60k salary after probationary period
