Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Tasting Room Attendant, where your passion for wine, exceptional customer service skills, and love for the food and beverage industry will shine. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide engaging, informative wine tastings tailored to their preferences
Educate guests about different wines, including varietals, regions, tasting notes, and food pairings
Manage POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
Upsell wines and related products to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, including glassware, tasting stations, and display area
Support team leadership by collaborating with colleagues to deliver seamless service in a fast-paced environment

Skills

Proven experience in customer service within the food and beverage or restaurant industry
Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling and enhancing guest satisfaction
Background in culinary or food handling experience is a plus for understanding food presentation and safety standards
Excellent communication skills to educate guests confidently about wines and answer their questions clearly
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a hospitality setting that values professionalism, attention to detail, and guest engagement
