Location: Huntsville, AL 35806 (Onsite)
Duration: 7–8 Month Contract (Potential for Direct Hire)
Pay Rate: $41.00/hour
Work Schedule: 9/80 Schedule

Professional Administrator (ADP2)
Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Professional Administrator to support a high-visibility enterprise initiative focused on expanding organizational capacity. This is a staff-level administrative role that goes beyond traditional administrative assistant responsibilities by providing operational coordination, executive support, project communication, and leadership reporting.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities independently, and experience supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and operational support to multiple directors involved in a major company initiative.
Draft, coordinate, and distribute internal communications to keep teams aligned and informed.
Collect, consolidate, and organize project updates, metrics, and information from multiple stakeholders.
Prepare executive-level presentations, briefing materials, reports, and meeting documentation.
Coordinate meetings, schedules, agendas, follow-up actions, and stakeholder communications.
Track project milestones, deadlines, deliverables, and action items to help maintain project momentum.
Organize and maintain shared documentation, project files, and information repositories.
Identify missing information, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Support leadership with planning, coordination, and execution of project-related activities.
Handle confidential and business-sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Required Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in:
Professional Administration
Operations Support
Project Coordination
Business Support
Similar professional staff roles
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
PowerPoint
Excel
Outlook
Word
Ability to gather and consolidate information from multiple sources into clear, professional reports and presentations.
Strong judgment, professionalism, discretion, and customer-service mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience supporting large-scale programs, organizational transformation, or enterprise initiatives.
Experience creating reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive communications.
Comfortable tracking project data, deadlines, and progress updates.
Experience supporting multiple leaders or stakeholders within a matrixed organization.
Strong problem-solving skills with excellent follow-through.
