As we continue investing in our customer experience and preparing for future growth, we're strengthening our leadership team and looking for a Customer Service Manager who wants to help build the next chapter of our Customer Support department.

This isn't a role where you'll simply supervise a team.

We're looking for someone who enjoys developing people, improving processes, creating accountability, and leading by example. About the Role

You'll initially lead a team of two Customer Service Representatives, with the opportunity to help strengthen and develop the department as the company continues to grow.

You'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the Customer Service department while remaining actively involved in supporting customers and your team whenever needed.

We're looking for a leader who leads by example—someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, support their team, and help solve problems alongside them.

Working closely with the General Manager and ownership, you'll play a key role in improving customer satisfaction, developing your team, and creating a customer experience that reflects the high standards of Engineer Supply.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Service Representatives.
Create a positive, accountable, and customer-focused team culture.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
Monitor team performance and establish clear expectations and measurable goals.
Handle customer escalations while coaching employees through challenging situations.
Work alongside your team by assisting customers during busy periods and supporting daily operations.
Improve customer service processes, documentation, and workflows.
Collaborate with Warehouse, Purchasing, Product Management, Sales Support, and Operations to ensure customers receive timely and accurate service.
Report on key department performance metrics, including response times, customer satisfaction, productivity, and quality.
Identify opportunities to improve both the customer experience and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people just as much as serving customers.

The ideal candidate:

Has 2–3+ years of customer service leadership experience.
Has experience managing and developing customer service teams.
Leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in when the team needs help.
Is passionate about coaching, mentoring, and developing employees.
Holds people accountable while building trust and respect.
Communicates clearly and professionally with customers and employees.
Is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Enjoys improving systems and finding better ways to serve customers.
Is comfortable making decisions independently and taking ownership of outcomes.
Brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Experience in e-commerce, distribution, industrial supply, construction, manufacturing, or other business-to-business environments is preferred but not required.
