Zappy’s Auto Washes is hiring dependable, hardworking team members for our Chardon car wash and auto detailing locations.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, staying active, and producing high-quality results. No professional car wash or detailing experience is required. We provide paid training in both car wash operations and automotive detailing.
Employees will be trained and may be scheduled at both Chardon locations based on staffing and business needs:
- Chardon Car Wash: 356 Center Street, Chardon, OH
- Chardon Detail Center: 554 Water Street, Chardon, OH
What You Will Do
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Prepare and safely guide vehicles through the car wash
- Pre-wash vehicles and clean wheels, tires, windows, and exterior surfaces
- Wash, dry, wax, and detail vehicle exteriors
- Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors
- Clean carpets, upholstery, dashboards, consoles, doors, and windows
- Apply cleaning products, protectants, waxes, and dressings
- Inspect vehicles before and after service
- Identify scratches, dents, stains, or other existing vehicle conditions
- Ensure completed vehicles meet company quality standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Safely use car wash and detailing equipment
- Follow company procedures and safety requirements
- Assist coworkers during busy periods

Previous car wash, automotive detailing, professional cleaning, or other hands-on work experience is helpful but not required.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license because the position requires safely moving customer vehicles.

Available Schedules
Employees may be scheduled at either Chardon location based on staffing and business needs.
Chardon Car Wash
Open seven days a week. Available shifts include:
- 7:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- 3:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.
Chardon Detail Center
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
Full-time applicants should be available for a combination of weekday and weekend shifts. Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process.

Sunday: Closed
