Full Job Description

Job Overview:
Join our team as a Barista and bring your passion for coffee and customer service to our bustling cafe. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages while providing exceptional customer experiences.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a range of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions with customers
- Maintain cleanliness of the cafe and coffee preparation areas
- Restock supplies as needed
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at all times

Requirements:
- Knowledge of food safety practices in a cafe setting
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques in the coffee industry
- Strong sales skills to promote products and upsell to customers
- Prior experience in the food industry preferred
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with patrons effectively
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using POS systems for order processing and payment handling

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
