We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Shop Coordinator to join our team and drive efficiency across our construction operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the coordination of construction shop activities, manage project documentation, and ensure smooth communication between field teams and project management. Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver / Shop Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling and preparing materials based on field orders, and safely delivering them to job sites while providing excellent service to our crews.

- Safely operate a company vehicle to transport materials and equipment to job sites
- Load and unload materials efficiently and securely
- Pull and fulfill orders using our field order system
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely service
- Communicate with field staff to ensure accurate and prompt deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to questions or concerns
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- General Mechanic experience preferred
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience driving various vehicles, including those with trailers, preferred
- Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good knowledge of routes and navigation
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shop activities, including material handling, equipment management, and work order processing to ensure timely project execution
- Utilizing our Filemaker database software to process
- Support project managers by preparing detailed estimates and budgets utilizing construction estimating tools and techniques
- Manage procurement processes, including tracking orders, verifying contracts, and ensuring materials meet project specifications
- Facilitate effective communication between field crews, suppliers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to promote seamless operations
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and safety reports
- Monitor shop safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards to foster a safe working environment
