About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Wedding Décor Assistant to help bring wedding visions to life! This role focuses primarily on setting up wedding décor before guests arrive and ensuring every detail is beautifully placed according to the event design.
This is a hands-on position that involves unloading décor, arranging tables and décor elements, following setup instructions, and helping transform venues into beautiful event spaces. No prior wedding experience is required—we’re happy to train the right person. A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are much more important.
A Few Things to Know
This is an as-needed, part-time position, so you won’t be scheduled every weekend. Wedding dates vary throughout the year, and you’ll only be asked to work when additional help is needed. Applicants must have weekend availability (primarily Fridays and Saturdays), and I do my best to provide at least one month’s advance notice before every event so you have plenty of time to plan.
As Ivory Events continues to grow, there may be opportunities for additional responsibilities and hours for team members who demonstrate reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
