Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in a home setting. This role involves working closely with patients and their families, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Monitor and record vital signs to ensure patient health and comfort.
Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
Assist in lifting and transferring patients as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Work collaboratively with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.

Skills

Experience in home settings is preferred.
Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities or other disabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate compassionately with patients and families.
Familiarity with monitoring vital signs and basic health assessments.
Ability to lift and assist patients safely while following proper techniques.
Commitment to providing high-quality care while respecting the dignity of all individuals.
