Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Full Time Infant Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants, fostering their growth through thoughtful lesson planning and personalized care. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young learners and support their early development milestones.
Pay Range: Based on years of licensed facility experience (early childhood education) and/or level of education- ECE specific or related major.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to infants’ developmental stages, including literacy education and early intervention strategies
- Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support for each child
- Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and engagement
- Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, milestones, and any special needs or accommodations
- Maintain detailed records of each child's development, behavior management plans, and lesson plans aligned with childhood development standards
- Foster an inclusive environment that supports special education needs and promotes child welfare
- Support classroom organization by preparing materials, managing daily schedules, and ensuring a clean and safe learning space

Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods and preschool experience
- Proven experience working with children in daycare or private school settings
- Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions
- Knowledge of childhood development stages, literacy education, math concepts for young learners, and physical education activities
- Experience with special education practices and early intervention programs is a plus

Must have a current criminal record qualifying unit from the Division of Child Development, TB test and medical within the past year, and be willing to take CPR and first aid within 30 days of hire or possess the training already. The candidate must also possess the It's SIDS safe sleep training or willing to take it within thirty days of hire.

We are currently seeking to add to our staff, passionate, qualified and experienced part time and full time Assistant and Lead Teachers to our infant, toddlers, and pre-school classes.
Teachers must focus on keeping the classroom on pace with the daily schedule while maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere where happy happens here! Effective communication skills and strong organizational skills are essential qualities for this position .
To be considered for this position, you must meet all requirements listed below:
- We require High School Diploma Must be 18+
- Associates or bachelor's degree in ECE preferred but not required
- compensation is based on experience and/or education and major
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices Strong written and communication skills CPR and First Aid or willing to obtain
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Be Reliable and punctual
- Prior classroom experience in a childcare center with potty training (Infant, Toddler, 2yr Old) a PLUS
- Clean background check is REQUIRED (included FBI) through the Division of Child Development (qualifying letter)
- TB test and staff medical (within one year old)
- Staff heath assessment within one year old on NCDCDEE document
- Minimum of 2 work references
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation a must.

Duties:

The hourly wage offered is based upon the education and experience that is specific to Early Childhood Education in a licensed facility.
