Full Job Description

Northern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a full-time hospitalist to join its established inpatient medicine team in Portland, Maine . This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-centered team in one of New England’s most desirable coastal communities.

Enjoy Work-Life Balance:

Daytime only coverage.
14 shifts per month for 1.0 FTE.
10-12 hour shifts, starting at 7:00 am

Practice in a Thriving, Well-Supported Environment:

Closed ICU with critical care providers on site.
Manageable patient load that lends itself to exceptional patient care outcomes.
Work alongside experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
Strong specialty support, ensuring timely consults and comprehensive patient care.
Collaborative, team-based environment focused on quality, safety, and provider well-being.

Compensation Information:

$304,307 - $323,969 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on quality incentives.
The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
