The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) at Maine Medical Center (MMC) is Master's prepared, nationally certified nurse as defined by the AACN Role Description Practice Standards 2003. The mission of the CLN is to assure the provision of expert, quality, evidence-based care for patients and families in a variety of practice settings. The CNL also provides leadership in the development of staff, resources, and programs that support the MMC mission. The CNL partners with health care providers and management teams to develop and deliver quality health care to specific patient populations.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Masters degree required. Graduate from a Masters program in nursing with an AACN approved CNL curriculum.

License/Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine. Clinical Nurse Leader certification required.

Experience: 3-5 years' clinical experience required in area of expertise prior to Masters prepared education. Experience as registered nurse, knowledge base from CNL academic program.

Skillful communicator, problem solving, systems analysis, financial expertise, evidence based practice and research.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.
The pay range for this position is $108,297.28to $160,923.98 per year.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
