In partnership with one of our local clients who is a leader in high‑quality model home construction, we’re seeking an experienced Deck Builder to help bring strength, beauty, and precision to every build.
Your work will be one of the first things customers see—and one of the last things they forget.
What You’ll Do
- Build, install, and finish exterior decks for model homes
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and decking materials with accuracy
- Use hand and power tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, and levels
- Read and follow basic drawings, measurements, and build specifications
- Ensure all decking is structurally sound, safe, and visually clean
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly build goals
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety guidelines
What You Bring
- At least 1 year of experience building decks or working as a carpenter
- Strong understanding of measurements, cuts, and basic construction math
- Ability to use common carpentry tools confidently and safely
- Experience working with lumber, framing, and exterior construction materials
- Reliability, good communication, and a team‑first mindset
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
Pay & Attendance Incentive
- Base Pay: $15.00/hour
- Earn up to: $17.00/hour with perfect attendance
- Daily Attendance Incentives:
- Each absence reduces pay by $2.00 (down to base)
- Each late arrival reduces pay by $1.00 (down to base)
- Incentive resets weekly
