Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner (1099 Independent Contractor)Mykonos MedSpa & Lamsce — Dual-Practice Opportunity
Mykonos Med Spa and LAMSCE are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner to join our growing luxury medical aesthetics practices as an independent contractor. This is a shared role across both locations, with scheduling driven by patient demand at each site.
The ideal candidate is passionate about aesthetic medicine, delivers exceptional patient care, and possesses advanced experience performing cosmetic injectable and laser treatments. Locations: Mykonos MedSpa (Sherman Oaks, CA) and LAMSCE Schedule: Flexible; days and hours allocated between the two practices based on patient volume and treatment demand.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Consultations & Treatment Planning
- Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations and develop customized treatment plans based on each patient's goals.
- Evaluate medical history and determine patient candidacy for aesthetic procedures.
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and post-procedure care.
- Build long-term patient relationships through outstanding service and follow-up care at both practices.
Aesthetic Procedures
- Perform cosmetic injectable treatments, including Botox®, Dysport®, dermal fillers, and other facial rejuvenation procedures within scope of practice.
- Administer IV Therapy and wellness treatments as clinically appropriate.
- Perform laser treatments utilizing both ablative and non-ablative laser technologies.
- Perform additional aesthetic procedures within scope of practice, including skin rejuvenation treatments, microneedling, PRP/PRF (if experienced), and related cosmetic services.
- Monitor patient progress and recommend appropriate maintenance treatment plans.
Multi-Location Practice Coverage
- Provide clinical coverage at both Mykonos MedSpa and LAMSCE, with scheduling adjusted based on patient demand, treatment volume, and seasonal need.
- Maintain consistent treatment standards, injection technique, and patient experience across both practices.
- Adapt to the distinct device inventory, product lines, and clinical protocols at each location.
- Communicate proactively with front office and clinical staff at both sites regarding availability, patient follow-ups, and continuity of care.
Clinical Operations
- Maintain complete and accurate HIPAA-compliant patient documentation within each practice's Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Ensure compliance with California nursing regulations, infection control standards, and established clinical protocols at both locations.
- Maintain treatment rooms, laser equipment, and aesthetic devices according to manufacturer and safety guidelines.
- Participate in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and clinical teams at both practices to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
- Contribute to practice growth through excellent patient satisfaction and retention.
- Stay current with emerging aesthetic technologies, products, and industry best practices through continuing education.
QualificationsRequired
- Current California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in good standing.
- National Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner.
- Demonstrated experience performing Botox®, dermal filler, and other cosmetic injectable treatments.
- Experience administering IV Therapy.
- Experience performing both ablative and non-ablative laser treatments.
- Previous experience working in a Medical Spa, Plastic Surgery practice, Cosmetic Dermatology office, or similar aesthetic practice.
- Availability and willingness to work across both practice locations, with a flexible weekly schedule that shifts based on demand.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between locations.
- Strong consultation, communication, and patient education skills.
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Professional appearance and demeanor reflective of a luxury medical aesthetics practice.
Preferred
- Prior experience working across multiple practice locations or float/per-diem clinical coverage.
- Experience with PRP/PRF, microneedling, RF skin tightening, and other advanced aesthetic procedures.
- Existing patient following is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Russian) is highly preferred.
- Comfort learning multiple EHR platforms and device systems.
- Strong ability to build patient trust and maintain long-term relationships.
