Full Job Description

Summit Malibu is seeking a reliable and experienced Weekend Chef to prepare fresh, healthy, high-quality meals for our clients and staff at our beautiful residential treatment facility in Malibu.

This is an on-site weekend position serving a small group of approximately 5–10 people. The chef will be responsible for preparing lunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays; specific hours are negotiable and can be discussed based on meal service needs.

Previous professional cooking and/or private chef experience is preferred.

Plan and prepare lunch and dinner for approximately 5–10 clients and staff
Create fresh, balanced, flavorful meals with thoughtful presentation
Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and individual nutritional needs as necessary
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
Follow proper food handling and food safety procedures
Assist with meal planning and communicate grocery/ingredient needs
Work independently and reliably in a professional residential environment
