Full Job Description

Overview
The Private Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in the daily preparation of high-quality meals for the family and their guests. This role requires a balance of exceptional cooking skills, organizational mastery, and absolute discretion within a private residence. Assist Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. Your energetic approach and culinary expertise will inspire your team to deliver memorable meals.

Responsibilit

Assist Head Chef , lead food preparation and cooking processes when Head Chef is absent.
Manage inventory control, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
Support menu planning and development in collaboration with Head Chef to keep offerings innovative and appealing
Catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely preparation and exceptional service delivery
Supervise shift management duties., assigning tasks, and maintaining a positive team environment
Monitor food handling procedures and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in fine dining kitchens with strong background in food production and culinary techniques
Experience with hospitality setting
Knowledge of banquet operations, catering, and dietary department standards
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Strong understanding of inventory management, food safety regulations, and kitchen management systems
Excellent cooking skills with a focus on presentation and quality control
Experience in menu planning, food service management, and shift coordination
Knowledge of the food industry standards for hygiene, safety, and customer service excellence
Maintaining attention to detail and teamwork
