Kitchen Manager / Kitchen Lead

Coach’s Corner – Belvidere, IL

Coach’s Corner is looking for a strong kitchen leader to help continue building one of the busiest and most community-driven restaurants in Belvidere. We’re a high-volume scratch kitchen known for our burgers, wings, smoked specials, fish fry, mac & cheese creations, and feature menus that keep people coming back.

We need someone who can lead by example, stay calm under pressure, and help keep the kitchen running efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency.

What We’re Looking For

Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment
Experience with line cooking, prep, and kitchen operations
Someone who takes pride in food quality and cleanliness
Ability to motivate and hold a team accountable
Weekend and evening availability required
Ordering/inventory experience is a plus
ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

Lead and support the kitchen team during service
Maintain food quality, consistency, and ticket times
Help manage prep, inventory, and kitchen organization
Assist with scheduling and training staff
Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are followed
Work directly with ownership on menu features and operations
