Water Mitigation & Restoration Estimator – Xactimate / Insurance Claims

A&M Damage Solutions LLC is looking for an experienced and professional Water Mitigation & Restoration Estimator to assist with estimating, documentation, and insurance claim communication.

We are looking for someone who has strong experience in the water mitigation and property restoration industry and understands how to properly prepare and support insurance restoration estimates.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed water mitigation and restoration estimates using Xactimate
Review scopes of work, photos, moisture documentation, and other supporting documents
Prepare accurate estimates and supplements for insurance claims
Review insurance company and adjuster estimates and identify missing or underpaid items
Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters, claim representatives, and estimate reviewers
Respond to estimate questions, revisions, and requests for additional documentation
Assist with supplement negotiations and claim follow-ups
Help support pricing and line items with proper documentation and industry standards
Maintain organized records and follow claims through the review process

Qualifications

Strong experience with Xactimate is required
Previous experience with water mitigation, restoration, or property damage insurance claims
Good understanding of insurance estimating and claim procedures
Ability to read and compare estimates and scopes of work
Strong attention to detail and organization
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Experience communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters is strongly preferred
Knowledge of IICRC standards and restoration documentation is a plus

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, organized, dependable, and confident handling restoration estimates from beginning to end. The ideal candidate understands both the technical side of water mitigation/restoration and the insurance claim process and can help ensure that estimates are accurate, properly documented, and professionally presented.

Experience with Xactimate and insurance restoration claims is essential.
