About The Lamb Center
The Lamb Center (TLC) is a faith based human services organization, dedicated to serving individuals experiencing poverty and homelessness in Fairfax, VA. TLC operates a holistic drop-in center that provides meals, laundry, Bible study, case management and other critical services to its guests. In partnership with Wesley Housing, TLC is also an owner-operator of Beacon Landing, a new permanent supportive housing (PSH) community, currently under construction, estimated to open by the end of 2026.
About the Beacon Landing PSH Services Program
Beacon Landing's Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Services Program is designed to promote long-term housing stability, resident wellness, community integration, and self-directed growth for individuals and households residing at Beacon Landing. The program serves residents who may have experienced chronic homelessness, prolonged housing instability, disabling conditions, behavioral health challenges, trauma, social isolation, or other significant barriers to maintaining housing.
The Lamb Center recognizes that stable housing provides a foundation from which individuals can more effectively pursue healthcare, recovery, income stability, employment, personal goals, and meaningful community connections. Consistent with this philosophy, Beacon Landing's supportive services are designed to help residents maintain permanent housing while enhancing overall quality of life through individualized, flexible, and resident-centered support.
About the PSH Case Management Supervisor
The Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Case Management Supervisor provides day-to-day programmatic and operational leadership for 24/7 supportive services at Beacon Landing Permanent Supportive Housing. This position directly supervises the Beacon Landing Case Management and Resident Advocate team, oversees housing stabilization operations, and helps ensure consistent implementation of best practices throughout the program.
The PSH Case Management Supervisor reports directly to The Lamb Center’s Director of Case Management and serves as the primary on-site supportive services lead for Beacon Landing operations. In addition to supervisory and operational responsibilities, the position maintains a small caseload of approximately 5-8 high-acuity residents requiring intensive housing stabilization and supportive services coordination.
This position also functions as the program’s HMIS Super User and supports documentation oversight, data quality, workflow coordination, and compliance with applicable HMIS, Continuum of Care, and program requirements.
This full-time, exempt position will work onsite. Candidates must fully support the mission, vision, and values of The Lamb Center and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Roles and Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Oversight
- Lead the case management and resident advocate team using a trauma-informed, client-centered, and Housing First approach.
- Oversee daily operations, caseload distribution, and team workflows to ensure equitable and high-quality services.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, agency policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with crisis response coordination and operational problem-solving, including being available for afterhours staff support
- Collaborate with the Director to design, implement, and evaluate programs, policies, and procedures.
- Support continuous program improvement through needs assessments, program evaluation, and client satisfaction surveys.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Support onboarding and training supportive services staff
- Supervise and support a team of case managers and resident advocates, including conducting regular one-on-one supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Provide guidance in complex case management, crisis intervention, and service coordination.
- Identify ongoing training needs and coordinate access
- Lead weekly team meetings, participate in case conferencing, operational meetings, and interdepartmental coordination efforts
- Develop and facilitate in-service trainings and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Promote a collaborative and professional team environment that fosters self-directed learning and staff growth.
Service Coordination & Client Support
- Support lease-up, move-in coordination, and First 90-Day stabilization activities
- Review client files and service plans in coordination with the case managers to ensure documentation integrity.
- Address and resolve client grievances or appeals in a timely, fair, and trauma-informed manner (Escalate unresolvable concerns to Director within 72 hours)
- Maintain a small caseload of approximately 5-10 residents requiring intensive housing stabilization support
- Monitor housing stabilization concerns and assist with early intervention and eviction prevention efforts
- Coordinate with Director of Case Management and Property Management regarding housing stability concerns while maintaining appropriate role separation
Data Management & Compliance
- Serve as the Beacon Landing HMIS Super User and assist with HMIS compliance, troubleshooting, data quality monitoring, workflow support, and reporting coordination
- Monitor use of HMIS and internal systems to ensure accurate data entry and high-quality case documentation.
- Verify data accuracy for internal and external reporting requirements.
- Support compliance with all Fairfax County HMIS requirements and ensure data is up-to-date and report-ready.
- Collaborate with Coordinated Entry, healthcare providers, behavioral health providers, FCRHA, community partners, and other service systems as appropriate
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality and professional communication standards
- Support operational tracking related to resident engagement, housing stability, incidents, and supportive services activities
Operational & Administrative Support
- Review and approve staff timecards, schedules, and leave requests.
- Participate in after-hours rotation and serve as a crisis response backup for service delivery staff
- Ensure that all available funding is tracked, spent appropriately, and supported by required documentation.
- Foster a positive, mission-driven culture that promotes innovation, learning, and shared leadership.
Other Responsibilities
- Support a safe, respectful, and resident-centered housing environment
- Participate in crisis response coordination and support coverage during operational emergencies or staffing needs as required
- Perform other duties related to supportive housing operations and program management as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in homelessness services, supportive housing, behavioral health, case management, or related human services field
- Prior supervisory, leadership, or program management experience strongly preferred
- Experience working within Housing First, trauma-informed, and harm reduction service models strongly preferred
- Experience with HMIS data entry, reporting, compliance, and troubleshooting required
- Strong leadership, crisis intervention, de-escalation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, behavioral health conditions, substance use disorders, trauma, and complex medical needs
- Ability to supervise staff, manage multiple operational priorities, and maintain professional judgment in a fast-paced supportive housing environment

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
This is primarily an office-based position. The candidate must be comfortable working in an environment that serves individuals experiencing homelessness and that operates according to TLC's Christian, ecumenical values. Essential functions of this job may require the following physical demands:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
- Occasional exposure to loud, hectic environment
- Possible contact with individuals in crisis, who may not be attentive to basic personal hygiene, health, and safety practices

Pay: $64,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
