Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a dedicated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist 2 to join the team. This role will be Day shift, M-F, (4) 10 hr. shifts. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

Interventional Radiology Technologist 2 Responsibilities:

Effectively utilizes Inova Health System Inventory Management systems.
Assists RNs to accurately explain procedures to patients and families to ease anxiety.
Troubleshoots equipment effectively and places service calls to Biomedical when necessary.
Anticipates procedure flow and works with other team members to produce the highest quality care.

Interventional Radiology Technologist 2 Additional Requirements:

Work schedule: Day shift, M-F, (4) 10 hr. shifts, 1 weekend per month and 1-2 shifts per week of call
Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry in Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiovascular (CV) or Cardiovascular Interventional(CI)
Licensure - Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist is required only if the position is located in a free-standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital.
Experience - One year of work experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist
Education - Vocational/Technical degree in the area of study in Radiologic Technology; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography
