Roles and responsibilities:
We are seeking a Sales Consultant who will be responsible for achieving community sales goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience from a buyer's first interaction through closing and beyond.
As the primary sales professional for an assigned community, the Sales Consultant generates new business, builds lasting customer relationships, and serves as a trusted advisor throughout the homebuying journey. This role partners closely with Construction, Design, Marketing, and internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience while representing the EG Home brand.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
· Generate qualified traffic through prospecting, referrals, Realtor relationships, community outreach, and marketing initiatives
· Build and maintain strong relationships with Realtors and referral partners
· Conduct consistent prospecting and follow-up activities to develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
· Schedule and conduct buyer appointments, community tours, and discovery meetings
· Represent EG Home at community events, broker events, and marketing initiatives
Sales Execution
· Guide buyers through every stage of the homebuying process, from initial consultation through contract and closing
· Conduct buyer discovery to understand each customer’s needs, goals, and budget
· Present homesites, floor plans, available inventory, structural options, and community features
· Prepare and execute purchase agreements and related sales documentation
· Manage negotiations while balancing customer satisfaction with company objectives
· Consistently achieve individual and community sales goals established by company leadership
· Maintain expert-level knowledge of EG Home products, communities, pricing, incentives, and competitive offerings
Customer Experience
· Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer's homebuying journey.
· Maintain proactive, timely, and professional communication with buyers from initial inquiry through closing.
· Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, construction, design, and other internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
· Set clear expectations, proactively address concerns, and resolve issues with professionalism.
· Build long-term relationships that generate referrals, repeat business, and positive customer experiences.
Community Leadership
· Maintain a professional, welcoming, and presentation-ready sales center and model home
· Monitor inventory, homesite availability, pricing, and community readiness
· Conduct ongoing competitive market analysis and remain informed of local market trends
· Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and customer experience
· Represent the EG Home brand with professionalism within the community and local market
Operations
· Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed customer records within the CRM (Lasso).
· Document all customer interactions, appointments, and follow-up activities.
· Complete required reporting, sales documentation, and administrative responsibilities accurately and on time.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, sales procedures, and applicable real estate regulations.
· Participate in weekly sales meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
Professional Development
· Maintain product expertise
· Participate in ongoing training and coaching opportunities.
· Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and EG Home products.
· Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing sales culture.
· Mentor Associate Sales Consultants and Sales Assistants when appropriate
Required Qualifications
· Active real estate license
· Proven new-home or residential sales experience
· Strong negotiation and closing skills
· Excellent communication and relationship management
· Financial and contract acumen
· Ability to work a full-time sales schedule, including weekends with scheduled days off during the week
