Overview

Seeking Part-Time 7-3, FT 3-11, per diem 3-11
Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Licensed Nurse Aide, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care, assist with daily activities, and support individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and residents requiring specialized memory or dementia care. This position offers an engaging environment where your expertise in patient observation, medical documentation, and personal care contributes to creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing atmosphere for all.

Responsibilities

Perform patient observation and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and well-being.
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate medical records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and compassionate engagement.
Conduct catheter care, wound care, and hospice support as needed to promote comfort and health.
Document medical information accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
Collaborate with nursing staff to report changes in patient condition and assist with medical documentation updates.

Requirements

Valid certification as a Licensed Nurse Aide or equivalent licensure.
Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments.
Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs measurement.
Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease is highly preferred.
Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently for documentation purposes.
CPR certification required; additional certifications such as hospice care or catheter care are a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team dedicated to patient-centered care. This role is ideal for motivated caregivers eager to provide exceptional support in a dynamic setting that values compassion, professionalism, and continuous growth.
