Legal Administrative Assistant

Manchester, NH | Full-time, In Office | Monday–Friday
Pay: $30–$40/hour, based on experience

We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to provide clerical and secretarial support in a professional law office. This role is focused on administrative and document support and is ideal for someone with several years of legal office experience, strong organization skills, and excellent writing and proofreading abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide clerical and secretarial support to attorneys.
Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, emails, memos, and other office documents.
Prepare and complete legal forms accurately.
Organize files, maintain records, and support daily office workflow.
Answer phones, take messages, and communicate professionally with clients and vendors.
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and assist with deadline tracking.
Keep attorneys organized and help guide them through clerical processes as needed.
Handle general administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Several years of legal administrative or legal secretary experience required.
Strong clerical and office support background.
Excellent grammar, spelling, writing, and proofreading skills.
Highly organized and able to multitask effectively.
Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.
Comfortable preparing legal forms and routine office correspondence.
Able to work independently and support a busy office.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.
