What You Will Do
Lead Fun Activities: Supervise and deliver a comprehensive, diverse recreation schedule focused on health and wellness.
Coordinate Events: Plan exciting evening programming and leadership activities using center and community resources.
Manage Gear & Spaces: Keep inventory of sports equipment, perform light repairs, and maintain a clean, organized recreation department.
Track Accountability: Document student participation while maintaining strict compliance with safety guidelines.
Empower Student Leaders: Oversee the student recreation aide program to help young adults build leadership habits.
Be a Mentor: Model Career Success Standards, show respect and courtesy, and positively influence student behavior.
Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate of Arts Degree or one (1) year of related experience working with youth.(preferred)
Valid in-state Driver’s License with a driving record meeting company insurability requirements (CDL preferred).
Physical capability to stay active, stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Strong organizational, communication, and team-collaboration skills.
