Full Job Description

Are you a relationship-driven salesperson who knows how to open doors, build trust, and close the deal?

JLV Construction is looking for a Sales Representative to join our growing team in New Orleans. We specialize in high-end residential construction, whole-home renovations, additions, historic preservation, and custom projects.

This is an opportunity for a salesperson who wants more than a list of leads. You will have qualified opportunities coming to you while also having the freedom and responsibility to build your own book of business.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $50,000 annually
Sales Commission: 1.25% commission on sales
Medical Insurance: 100% company-paid basic medical coverage
Mileage Allowance: $200/month
Gas Allowance: $280/month
Cell Phone Allowance: $50/month
Performance Bonuses: Eligibility for applicable KPI

What You'll Do

You will own the sales process from the first conversation through contract and handoff to Operations.

Your day-to-day will include:

Responding to and managing qualified JLV leads
Meeting clients and conducting property/site visits
Understanding the client's vision, scope, budget, and expectations
Building relationships with architects, realtors, homeowners, developers, and referral partners
Prospecting and generating your own business
Following up consistently and managing your pipeline in the CRM
Presenting JLV's capabilities and helping clients understand the construction process
Developing opportunities and closing contracts
Working closely with our estimating and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to construction

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is hungry, personable, organized, and confident—someone who enjoys meeting people and knows how to turn relationships into business.

You should have:

3+ years of sales experience, preferably in construction, remodeling, real estate, architecture/design, or a related industry
A proven ability to generate business and build relationships
Strong communication and follow-up skills
The ability to read and understand basic construction blueprints
A professional presence when working with high-end homeowners and industry professionals
Strong integrity, honesty, and accountability
A positive, proactive attitude and the drive to succeed
Reliable transportation for local client and property meetings

We're not looking for someone who simply waits for leads to come in.

We're looking for someone who sees an opportunity, picks up the phone, builds the relationship, follows up, and gets the deal across the finish line.
