Full Job Description

CEDAR Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to play a pivotal role in the treatment and recovery of individuals battling with various forms of disordered eating and eating disorders. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, your expertise will be utilized to create personalized nutrition plans, provide compassionate nutrition counseling to support during the recovery journey, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Assessment and Evaluation
Develop individualized meal plans and track progress
Individual and Group Nutrition Counseling
Address psychological, emotional, and behavioral aspects of disordered eating through nutrition interventions
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and healthcare standards, including strict confidentiality
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or related field from accredited program.
Licensing: Registered dietitian in Louisiana and a willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
Preferred experience: Pediatrics.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work effectively with diverse populations with a high level of empathy, professionalism, and compassion.
*Must be willing and open to learn eating disorders from an unbiased approach.
