Collaboration is key; you'll partner with departments like Product, Design, and Engineering to steer critical end-to-end decisions, focusing on app performance, reliability, and seamless release cycles. You'll not only lay down the mobile app blueprint but also play a crucial role in shaping the iOS team's cultural and technical ethos for the long haul.

Responsibilities

Take charge of the iOS app lifecycle, enhancing marketplace experiences from user discovery to post-booking functionalities.

Establish a robust, scalable iOS codebase, ensuring a seamless flow from architecture to deployment, coupled with efficient testing and CI/CD practices.

Collaborate intensively with teams to deliver intuitive, polished mobile experiences.

Drive our mobile strategy, identifying areas where mobile can outshine web-based solutions and amplify business leverage.

Team up with backend developers to optimize API efficacy, ensuring app speed and resilience.

Enhance app performance through meticulous attention to navigation, responsiveness, and error management, ensuring stability and reliability.

Leverage analytics tools to facilitate team understanding of user behavior and iterative improvement.

Raise the bar for iOS engineering excellence by setting technical standards and ensuring rigorous code reviews and testing.

Envision and architect the long-term growth of our mobile platform, tailoring practices and team expansion.

Serve as a cornerstone in developing the iOS team by mentoring future talents and building a culture of excellence.

Technology Stack : Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Postgres, MongoDB, AWS, Datadog, XCTest, UI Testing, CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in developing iOS apps with significant consumer reach.

Proficient in Swift and up-to-date iOS development methodologies.

Experience in delivering high-performance, user-centric iOS applications.

Demonstrated leadership in iOS architecture and development.

A strong advocate for quality in design and functionality, with a knack for simplifying complex systems.
