Job Description

Ultra PCS are seeking a Production Test and Troubleshooting Specialist to support Test Lab operations. We are an AS9100-certified electronics manufacturer specializing in PCB population, box build, and environmental testing for aerospace and defense clients, with an FAA repair station and in-house design engineering. The ideal candidate brings reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Flexibility will be expected as this role will occasionally require late nights during the week and/or over the weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify root causes of test failures, perform diagnostics, and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues.

Precision placement of small electronic components onto printed circuit boards.

Soldering electronic components onto printed circuit boards.

Part by part, visual inspections of both electronic components and assemblies.

Installation of hardware (screws, nuts, etc.) using hand held tools.

Maintenance and tracking of production and testing documentation.

Organization and maintenance of Test Lab workbench and equipment.

Operation of vibration table and product specific test stands.

Follow ESD control procedures to maintain a compliant work environment

Misc. Test Lab tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma.

This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ year experience working in electronic circuit board assembly.

1+ year experience hand soldering electronics.

Ability to work with other assembly personnel in a cooperative, team manner.

Ability to professionally handle critical feedback from quality inspectors and management.

Dedication to quality and precision of work.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to visually inspect product or parts through a microscope.

Must pass eye exam (can wear glasses or contacts).

Controlled hand dexterity for working with tweezers, soldering irons and tiny components.

Controlled hand-eye coordination for manipulating tiny components under a microscope.

Ability to read and follow production procedures.
