Full Job Description

Arthur Green, LLP has an immediate opening for a full-time Office Manager/Legal Assistant/Paralegal in 6 attorney firm in Manhattan, Kansas. The Office Manager/Legal Assistant’s primary role is to provide administrative and legal support for the Managing Partner. Competitive salary and benefits are offered. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Facilitate monthly billing process (accounts receivable)

· Daily AR deposits

· Manage accounts payable

· Reconcile operating and trust accounts

· Order and maintain office supplies

· Greet clients and answer phones

· Prepare draft transactional, corporate, and estate planning documents

· Draft letters and other legal documents from attorney dictation

· Draft court documents and file court pleadings

· Provide support in organizing, maintaining, managing and archiving files, legal documents, and client/attorney correspondence

· Communicate with clients via email and telephone

· Schedule appointments for assigned attorneys

· Hire and supervise student interns

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervising attorneys

Required Skills:

· Excellent communication skills

· Attention to detail

· Problem solving

· Organization and ability to multitask

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Education and/or Experience:

· High School Diploma (required)

· Administrative and/or customer service experience (required)

· Accounts payable/receivable experience (preferred)

· Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
