Senior Landscape Designer & Sales Consultant

Taussig Landscape is looking for an experienced Senior Landscape Designer & Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Manhattan, Kansas.
This is a high-impact position for someone who wants to combine design, sales, relationships, and entrepreneurship.
We're looking for someone capable of developing and selling $1,000,000+ in annual landscape projects, with significant upside for someone who can build strong relationships and consistently produce.
What You'll Do
- Meet with homeowners to understand their goals, lifestyle, and budget
- Visit properties and evaluate existing site conditions
- Develop creative and functional landscape designs
- Produce professional designs using Dynascape
- Prepare proposals and project budgets
- Present designs and recommendations to clients
- Build relationships and guide clients through the sales process
- Follow up with prospects and manage your sales pipeline
- Sell landscape construction, outdoor living, planting, irrigation, and enhancement projects
- Coordinate with our production and irrigation teams to ensure projects are properly handed off
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the process
- Help create an exceptional customer experience from initial meeting through completion
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has professional landscape design and/or sales experience
- Has strong knowledge of plants, hardscape materials, grading, drainage, and outdoor construction
- Is comfortable meeting with homeowners and selling high-value projects
- Has strong communication and presentation skills
- Is organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understands budgets, margins, and profitability
- Is self-motivated and comfortable being accountable for sales results
- Takes pride in producing exceptional work
- Wants to continually improve personally and professionally
Dynascape experience is strongly preferred.
Landscape architecture, horticulture, construction, irrigation, ICPI, NCMA, or related experience is a plus.
