Job Title: Marketing Specialist
Location:
Mankato, Minnesota On-Site
Reports to: Marketing Director
Company Overview:
Since 1980, Pneumat Systems has designed and manufactured innovative equipment that helps keep bulk materials flowing safely and efficiently. This includes our flagship BinWhip® silo cleaning system, loading/unloading equipment for truck and rail, and other bulk handling solutions. We primarily serve the agriculture sector but also support customers in industries including cement, chemicals, energy, mining, and more. Our equipment is in use throughout the United States and in 67 countries worldwide. Pneumat is known for quality mechanical design, deep technical expertise, and long-term customer partnerships built on safety, reliability, and performance.
Position Overview:
We're hiring a Marketing Specialist to help execute and advance our marketing efforts across a wide variety of creative, digital, and technical disciplines. Working directly with the Marketing Director, you'll contribute to content creation, graphic design, website and e-commerce management, digital marketing, analytics, CRM and RevOps technology stacks, photography and video production, and automated workflows and AI-driven prospecting and marketing technologies.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys learning, solving problems, and wearing multiple hats. No two days are the same, and you'll build skills across nearly every aspect of modern B2B marketing while making a visible impact on a growing international company.
You don't need to be an expert in every area of this role on day one. We're looking for someone who brings a solid foundation in a few of these areas, along with the curiosity and initiative to learn the rest.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing & Content Creation
▪ Write and edit website content, email campaigns, blog articles, social media content, and other marketing communications.
▪ Maintain company websites and support ongoing SEO, digital advertising, attribution, retargeting, email marketing, and social media initiatives.
▪ Monitor marketing performance using Google Analytics, SEMrush, and other reporting tools, identifying opportunities to improve results.
Marketing Technology & Revenue Operations
▪ Support HubSpot CRM and other marketing technologies through data management, marketing automation, reporting, and process improvements.
▪ Research, evaluate, and implement new marketing technologies, AI tools, and software that improve efficiency and marketing effectiveness.
▪ Coordinate marketing projects with internal departments and outside vendors.
Creative Services & Events
▪ Capture and edit photography and video for product demonstrations, customer stories, promotional materials, and other marketing initiatives.
▪ Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of brochures, advertisements, presentations, trade show materials, and other marketing collateral.
▪ Assist with trade show planning and occasionally travel to customer sites and industry events to gather marketing content.
Qualifications & Skills
▪ Approximately 2–5+ years of professional experience in marketing operations/technology, creative production/design, or a related field.
▪ Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
▪ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
▪ Working knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals, including SEO, website analytics, online advertising, attribution, and marketing performance measurement.
▪ Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with the ability to create and edit professional marketing materials.
▪ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
▪ Experience with HubSpot or another CRM, WordPress or another content management system, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, SEMrush, or similar marketing platforms is beneficial.
▪ Demonstrated curiosity and resourcefulness, with the ability to learn new software, navigate complex business systems, and solve problems independently.
▪ Experience marketing industrial, manufacturing, or other B2B products is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
This full-time, on-site position offers an annual salary of $70,000–$90,000, depending on qualifications and experience. As responsibilities and expertise grow, opportunities for increased compensation and professional development are available.
Available benefits include paid time off, full health and dental coverage, HSA, retirement savings plan with employer match, short-term disability coverage, and life insurance.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
This role is based at our southern Minnesota facility, primarily in an office setting but occasionally in production and field environments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, carry, talk, hear, and use hands to operate computers, cameras, and other equipment. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Travel is limited to occasional customer visits and approximately one to three trade shows per year.
Why Pneumat Systems?
▪ Be part of a stable, family-owned company where people are valued, your ideas are heard, initiative is encouraged, and individual contributions are recognized.
▪ Work closely with company leadership and a highly skilled team to help some of the world's largest companies improve workplace safety and keep critical commodities moving.
▪ Step into a meaningful role where your creativity and initiative will directly impact our marketing strategy, strengthen our brand, and support the company's continued growth.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of marketing at a specialized manufacturing company on a mission to create a safer world, free from bulk flow issues. If you're a curious, resourceful marketer who enjoys both creativity and technology, we'd love to hear from you.
