The Director of Curriculum Management provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of the university’s curriculum development and approval processes. This position ensures the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of academic program information across all institutional systems, supports faculty and academic units in developing and revising curricula with an equity lens, and serves as the central point of contact for curriculum policy, governance workflows, and compliance requirements. The Director collaborates closely with Academic Affairs, Registrar’s Office, Institutional Research, accreditation teams, and academic colleges to ensure that curriculum processes are efficient, transparent, and aligned with institutional goals and regulatory standards. The position supports departments with market research and viability analysis to inform decisions about new and existing academic programs. Through strong communication, project management, and collaboration, the Director ensures that curriculum processes are efficient, compliant, and supportive of institutional goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Substantial experience (three or more years) in curriculum development, academic planning, or academic program management in a higher education setting.
- Demonstrated ability to apply an equity lens to program and curriculum design, academic portfolio management, and analysis of demand for academic programs.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage complex initiatives, coordinate across departments, and meet institutional deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders including faculty, staff, and administrators; to present complex information clearly and concisely; and to develop recommendations and technical reports for non-technical users and for specialist users as appropriate.

Experience with curriculum management systems, academic planning tools, student information systems, and large databases and the ability to guide their effective use across the institution.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate curriculum-related data to inform executive decision-making and long-term academic planning, including market analysis and recommendations for curriculum development.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply academic policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements related to curriculum and program development.
