Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $50,000-$90,000 K annually DOE

Shift: 1st

What’s a typical day as Assistant Project Manager? You’ll be:

Assisting in maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, and project team members.
Supporting procurement of materials and services for ongoing projects.
Helping distribute scope of work assignments to subcontractors and vendors.
Assisting the Project Manager with subcontract creation and change order processes.
Supporting project accounting and tracking contract change orders.
Helping coordinate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
Assisting with administration and tracking of project costs, including accounting updates and approvals.
Coordinating project schedules and maintaining communication protocols.
Participating in field quality control and attending job meetings as needed.
Assisting in project closeout procedures and maintaining records for submittals and closeout requirements.
Traveling to project sites as necessary (2-3 days per week).

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

Hold a 2- or 4-year degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Building Construction (this is required).
Have strong leadership, planning, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Are highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferably have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar position within the commercial building construction industry.
Have a solid, consistent work history.
Are comfortable using computers and office equipment for daily tasks.
Can travel to project sites as needed.
Must provide professional references.
