Full Job Description

Reports to: Operations Manager

Requirements:

Three years dental front desk experience
Experience in an orthodontic or periodontic practice preferred

Scheduling Responsibilities:

Ensures that ortho schedule is filled accurately. Checks schedule a week in advance to ensure accuracy.
Oversees scheduling and conducts the non-clinical portion of all consultation appointments.
Works with clinicians and Operations Manager/scheduler to accommodate changes in schedule.
Maintains information on overdue ortho adjustment appointments; schedules as soon as possible.

Financial/Insurance:

Ensures that insurance information, contracts and financial arrangements are correct and completed in a timely fashion for patients beginning treatment.
Responsible for financial arrangements for Invisalign patients.
Sends pretreatment estimates to insurance companies.

Administrative:

Monitors numbers and conversion rates for starts, new patients, consults, recalls, dismissals and generates weekly and monthly reports; follow up as needed.
Works with clinicians on goals, i.e. number of starts expected
Generates monthly production reports.
Follows up on patients who have had consults and not booked starts.
Works with Operations Manager or her designee to ensure accurate information on patients who have been asked to schedule initial appointments. Follow up as needed.

Other:

Completes other duties as assigned.
