Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (Japanese/English) Sales Account Manager to join our sales team. In this role, you will drive business growth by developing and managing key client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and closing deals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your proactive approach and cultural fluency will make a significant impact.

Duties

· Drive sales growth with new and existing customers and products with both remote communication with customers and travel to customer locations.

· Translate legal, technical, financial, and corporate documents between Japanese and English. Translation will be 30% of the job.

· Assist employees relocating from Japan with transition and settlement matters.

· Provide interpretation support during meetings.

· Facilitate communication between Japanese expats and local employees.

· Service current customers and prospect for targeted new accounts.

· Develop and negotiate quotes and proposals for customers.

· Work with the product development team to translate needs into products.

· Attend business meetings and customer locations.

· Work with customers to create solutions and answer inquiries from customers concerning products.

· Research organizations and individuals to find new customers and new product development opportunities.

· Apply knowledge of rubber compounds and molding processes to match customers’ needs.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree.

· Fluent in Japanese and English (N1 or N2 and/or a native Japanese speaker).

· Expert Japanese and professional English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.

· Experience in selling custom rubber molded products.

· Ability to work as a team member.

· Interpersonal skills to build relationships and network.

· Communicate effectively with peers, management, suppliers, and customers.

· Ability to listen to the concerns of a customer and address their needs.

· Frequent travel to customer locations. Ability to work on-site at our office in Macedonia, OH.

· Highly motivated and results-oriented.

· Self-starter with minimal supervision.

· Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Pipedrive.

Unable to sponsor Visas.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
