Front Desk Agent

Hampton Inn & Suites Minnetonka

Now Hiring: Join Our Hospitality Team!

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Front Desk Agent.

This key role is responsible for providing exceptional guest service with professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate will deliver a positive and welcoming experience for every guest while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist guests in a cheerful, friendly manner during check-in and check-out, ensuring compliance with all brand, legal, and company standards.
Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, responsiveness, honesty, and a positive attitude.
Communicate effectively with guests, team members, management, and other departments to ensure seamless operations across shifts.
Display strong teamwork by offering support to fellow staff to achieve productivity goals and uphold service standards.
Make sound decisions aligned with company policies and in the best interest of the property and guests.
Accurately process all charges and transactions; balance shift reports and perform proper handovers to the next shift.
Maintain strict adherence to brand and company procedures for safe cash handling and secure transaction processing.
Answer phones, direct calls professionally, take messages accurately, and ensure timely guest communication.
Confidently operate front desk computer systems and reservation software.
Take and confirm reservations accurately, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of room availability and rates.
Stay informed about room types, amenities, features, and public areas of the hotel to better assist guests.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby environment.
Assist with upkeep and restocking of the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and availability of coffee, tea, and food items.

Qualifications:

Prior hotel front desk or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computers and reservation systems.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
A genuine commitment to excellent guest service.
