At D&H Air Conditioning, Heating, & Plumbing, our technicians stay busy year-round with consistent, high-quality calls backed by one of the largest marketing operations in Tucson.

We’re hiring an experienced Lead Senior HVAC Service Technician who brings advanced technical expertise, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to train, mentor, and serve as a trusted resource for our service team.

This is a hands-on field position for an experienced technician who can handle complex service calls, train new technicians, conduct ride-alongs with new employees, assist with warranty work, and help set the standard for quality across the department.

$110,000–$170,000+ annual earning potential
20% commission pay structure
Additional biweekly Lead Bonus

What You’ll Be Doing

Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
Troubleshoot complex air conditioning, heating, and ventilation issues
Take the lead on advanced or challenging diagnostic and repair calls
Train and mentor new HVAC Service Technicians as they join the team
Conduct ride-alongs with new employees to provide hands-on field training, coaching, and feedback
Help new technicians develop strong diagnostic, customer service, and field processes
Serve as a technical resource for HVAC Service Technicians
Provide ongoing field support, coaching, and guidance to technicians when needed
Assist with warranty-related service calls, diagnostics, and repairs
Help ensure work is completed correctly and meets company quality standards
Provide clear, honest recommendations to customers
Complete service calls efficiently while delivering an exceptional customer experience
Help promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and high-quality workmanship within the service department

What We’re Looking For

7–8+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
Advanced experience with HVAC diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex system issues
EPA Certification (Universal or Type II)
Experience with warranty work is a plus
Ability to effectively train, coach, and mentor new technicians
Comfortable conducting ride-alongs and providing constructive feedback and hands-on instruction
Strong communication skills and professionalism with customers and team members
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions in the field, and stay organized
Strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

This isn’t an entry-level service position. We’re looking for a seasoned HVAC professional who knows residential service, can confidently handle difficult calls, and is someone other technicians can turn to for guidance.

The right person will also play an important role in developing our next generation of technicians, providing hands-on training and ride-along support to help new employees become confident, successful members of the service team.
