Energize your career as a Floor Manager in Retail Sales for a medium sized, family owned and operated hardware store where you will lead dynamic teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales success. This pivotal role combines leadership, sales expertise, and operational management to ensure the store runs smoothly, inventory is optimized, and customers leave satisfied. <Duties>

Lead, supervise, and motivate retail sales teams to achieve daily sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
Oversee store operations including inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize profitability.
Manage employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
Conduct interviewing and recruiting processes to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
Oversee cash handling, bookkeeping, and store budgeting to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, sales tracking, and inventory control while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures.
Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to boost store traffic and sales growth.
Supervise shift management by coordinating schedules, overseeing cashiering duties, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers through phone etiquette and organizational skills to foster a welcoming environment.
Monitor retail math metrics such as gross profit margins and inventory turnover to inform strategic decisions.

<Experience>

Proven management experience in retail sales or store management roles with a focus on team supervision and customer service excellence.
Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail math calculations.
Strong leadership skills with experience in training & development, coaching staff, and conducting interviews for hiring top talent.
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting practices.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
Experience in supervising retail operations such as hardware stores or building supply sales environments is advantageous.
