Full Job Description

The Property Supervisor is responsible for the overall well-being and success of an assigned portfolio of affordable, multi-family properties. They must have experience and a proven track record as a property manager. They will manage a diverse portfolio of properties with various regulatory and compliance requirements. They must possess the ability and willingness to develop, train, and mentor property managers.

Property Supervisor is Responsible for:

The physical, financial, and regulatory health of all assigned properties.
Review and approval of all property expenditures with adherence to a budget.
The hiring, training and management of all property staff.
Marketing activities.
Conducting regular on-site property inspections, including walking the property, climbing stairs, accessing various areas of the community, and performing occasional hands-on physical tasks related to property operations.
Attending and responding to all regulatory inspections.
Oversight of property risk management, safety standards and team member and resident liability and work with Property Managers and Maintenance to ensure timely preparation of rent ready units.
Review and preparation of yearly budgets.
Other duties as assigned.

Competencies:

Experience working with financials and budgets.
Proficiency in Yardi property management and related software applications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications
CPM, CAM, CRHM, CAPS certifications are a plus.
