Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen facilities. This role is vital in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and service excellence across all dining and catering functions. As a key leader in our hospitality environment, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, manage staff, and uphold our commitment to exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in fine dining, catering, and food management.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen activities, ensuring efficient food production and timely service for all departments.
Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team environment.
Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures, handling protocols, and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Manage inventory control and stock levels, conducting regular audits to minimize waste and optimize food costs.
Coordinate with catering and banquet teams to deliver seamless event execution while maintaining high standards of service.
Implement cost control measures while maintaining the quality of food offerings; monitor labor costs and operational expenses.
Ensure compliance with all health regulations, including proper food handling practices and sanitation procedures.
Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff rotations to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Collaborate with restaurant management on new menu development, special events, and customer feedback initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment, preferably with banquet or catering background.
Extensive culinary experience with a strong foundation in food production, cooking techniques, and fine dining standards.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and cost control strategies within the food industry.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling practices.
Experience in restaurant or hospitality management with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to oversee multiple responsibilities including shift management, menu planning, and quality assurance.
Excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
