Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Backdesk Receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the heartbeat of our backdesk operations. In this vital role, you will serve as the final point of contact for patients and callers, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your proactive attitude and excellent communication skills will help keep our office running smoothly, providing exceptional customer support and support to our team members. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your office management skills in a fast-paced, professional setting. There are no medical benefits. After one year you will receive one week of vacation and the option for a 401k.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and direct them appropriately, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
Operate multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, transfer calls, and take messages with courtesy and clarity
Manage Backdesk duties including scheduling appointments, maintaining doctors schedules, and handling incoming correspondence
Perform data entry and filing tasks accurately to ensure organized recordkeeping
Support office management by coordinating calendar appointments and assisting with clerical duties.
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring positive interactions at all touchpoints

Skills

Proven experience in a reception role with excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
Proficiency with multi-line phone systems, data entry, filing, and general clerical task.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Experience with customer service roles that require patience, professionalism, and quick problem-solving abilities
