School Operations Manager

Inspire Kids Montessori – Phoenix, AZ

Inspire Kids Montessori is a leading Montessori school dedicated to nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of children from infancy through kindergarten. We provide high-quality, individualized early childhood education in a warm, supportive environment led by experienced educators who are committed to helping every child thrive.

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and experienced School Operations Manager with Human Resources experience to oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of our school. This leadership position ensures smooth day-to-day operations, supports staff and families, maintains compliance with state licensing requirements, and promotes a positive, collaborative school culture.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily school operations, staffing, scheduling, and classroom coverage.
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and support employees.
Manage employee performance, coaching, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and professional development.
Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with Arizona licensing regulations and employment laws.
Ensure classrooms maintain licensing ratios, safety standards, and operational excellence.
Monitor attendance, payroll support, and staff accountability.
Collaborate with teachers and families to provide outstanding customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
Utilize school management software to oversee enrollment, attendance, and student records.
Support school programs, enrollment growth, retention, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of leadership, operations, or school administration experience.
Human Resources experience required.
Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood or closely related field.
Experience in early childhood education, childcare, or Montessori programs preferred.
Knowledge of Arizona childcare licensing regulations and employment practices preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and school management software.
