Overview
The Skin Institute of Atlanta is a boutique esthetics school with extremely high standards, and a culture of deep, hands-on investment in every student's success. We attract the best and brightest students and are committed to setting an example through highly accomplished, licensed professionals on our team.

The Program Director leads day-to-day academic and operational management of the 1000-Hour Esthetics Program and the 500-Hour Esthetics Instructor Program, overseeing esthetics instructors, and Student Services. This role is accountable for academic quality, regulatory compliance, instructor development, student outcomes, and business growth. The Program Director reports directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate is a highly accomplished, licensed esthetics professional who also has management and operations experience.

Curriculum & Instruction Responsibilities

Maintain, update and deliver the 1000-hour esthetics curriculum consistent with Georgia State Board of Cosmetology requirements
Maintain, update and deliver the 500-hour esthetics instructor curriculum consistent with Georgia State Board of Cosmetology requirements
Maintain compliance with Georgia State Board of Cosmetology regulations, accrediting regulations, and liability insurance standards

Instructor Management Responsibilities

Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate instructors across all schedules
Provide direct classroom instruction and clinic supervision as needed
Conduct classroom observations and evaluations to provide ongoing coaching and professional development

School Operations & Compliance Responsibilities

Manage program calendars and class scheduling
Manage student clinic operations and scheduling
Oversee inventory management and ordering of educational supplies, kits, and equipment
Prepare and submit required reports to the state licensing board and accrediting agencies

Budget & Payroll Responsibilities

Approve instructor payroll and invoicing ensuring timely, accurate processing
Prepare forecast, budget and spending recommendations for all programs

Student Success & Resolutions Responsibilities

Monitor student attendance and satisfactory academic progress (SAP); advise students on academic plans and licensure pathways
Resolve student academic, behavioral, and financial concerns
Build strong, individualized relationships with students and staff consistent with the school's boutique, high-touch culture

Business Development & Career Placement Responsibilities

Lead community outreach and build partnerships with schools, salons, and spas to support enrollment growth
Plan and execute marketing events and enrollment initiatives
Organize student showcases with hiring managers and facilitate employment connections
Plan field trips to salons and other establishments to expose students to real-world practice

Communication Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact between instructors, students, and the CEO on academic, financial, and operational matters
Communicate program updates, policies, and expectations clearly across the school

Pay: $68,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
