Full Job Description

Head of Maintenance and Customer Experience

Location: Atlanta, GA

Lead the Team. Elevate the Customer Experience. Drive Operational Excellence.

We're looking for a Head of Maintenance and Customer Experience to lead our maintenance operations, support our field leadership teams, and ensure consistent service excellence across multiple locations. If you're a proven leader with strong operational experience, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for developing people, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As the Head of Maintenance and Customer Experience, you'll be responsible for improving operations, supporting our field leaders, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience throughout our organization.

Leadership & Field Operations

Coach and support Maintenance Supervisors and field leadership teams.
Oversee technician performance, training, and accountability.
Conduct field visits and operational audits to ensure company standards are met.
Provide cross-branch operational support as needed.
Assist with operational planning and process improvements.

Customer Experience

Serve as the final escalation point for customer concerns.
Approve customer service resolutions and high-dollar customer accommodations.
Partner with Customer Service to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Monitor Google Reviews and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Drive company initiatives focused on customer satisfaction.

Training & Development

Oversee the technician training pipeline from onboarding through continued development.
Develop training programs and best practices for technicians and supervisors.
Help identify and develop future field leaders.

Operations & Scheduling

Provide oversight of routing and scheduling to maximize technician efficiency.
Support branch leaders with workload balancing and resource allocation.
Evaluate service capacity and improve operational workflows.

Seasonal Planning

Develop operational plans to prepare for peak and off-season demand.
Forecast staffing, routing, equipment, and inventory needs.
Coordinate with leadership to ensure branches are prepared for seasonal changes.
Monitor seasonal performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.

Technical Support

Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to field teams.
Assist with quoting small repairs.
Help establish service standards for Maintenance Technicians versus Service Technicians.

Business Systems & Process Improvement

Maintain HubSpot data integrity.
Improve operational processes and reporting.
Support inventory management, including SpinTouch equipment.
Collaborate with every department to improve communication and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of leadership experience in field operations, service management, or a related industry
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Technical knowledge of pool service, equipment, and water chemistry preferred
Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
