Junior Kitchen & Bath Designer
United Home Improvements — Norcross, GA
About the Opportunity
United Home Improvements is opening a brand-new kitchen and bath showroom in Norcross, GA, and we're looking for an emerging designer to grow with us from day one. This is an entry-level role with real responsibility and real upside. You won't be filing paperwork in the back - you'll be on the floor, working alongside our senior designer, learning the full design and sales process, and building relationships with clients from your first week.
If you're early in your design career and want to learn the right way - from client consultation through installation - in a hands-on, fast-moving environment, this is the role for you.
What Your Day Looks Like
You'll start the day checking in on active projects alongside the senior designer - learning how to track timelines, communicate with suppliers, and keep clients informed. During showroom hours you'll assist with client consultations, help pull finish samples, and begin building out design concepts under senior guidance. You'll get hands-on time with Pro Kitchen and Design Flex design software, working toward running your own projects as your confidence grows. Afternoons might include preparing estimates, updating project files, and coordinating with the installation team. Every day is a learning opportunity, and we take that seriously.
Why Choose Us Over a Similar Role Elsewhere

- Health Insurance – coming in January 2027
- Real mentorship - you'll work closely with an experienced senior designer who is invested in your development, not just delegating tasks
- Clear growth path - as the division grows, so does your role and your earning potential

- Small business, family environment - close-knit team where everyone knows each other, your work is noticed, and you’re supported from day one
What We're Looking For

- Organized, reliable, and eager to grow
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
