Full Job Description

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dynamic Partnership Director to join our growing team. This position is primarily responsible for developing new partnerships/contracts with Middle and Highschool districts and other private and Charter schools throughout the state of GA. to provide our digital, game-based, AI, cutting edge online educational platform. The right candidate must be an aggressive hunter with an established Georgia rolodex. This is a full-time, independent contractor role.

Essential Functions:

· Develop strategies and set goals to achieve New Business Development key objectives

· Partner with writer and other creative resources to create best in class sales presentations, and to respond to RFPs, RFQs, and questionnaires from prospective clients.

· Manage prospect relationship in a professional and independent manner

· Network with potential clients and partner with internal team to create new sales leads

· Participate in marketing activities, including trade gatherings and conferences

· Provide information and feedback on financial models of all new business being brought forward for approval

· Negotiate contract terms that are consistent with client expectations and organization development standards

· Convert sales leads to secure contracts

· Facilitate the development process of approved and viable business

· Create and implement territory sales plan

· Call on new targeted districts to gain meetings for new services

· Negotiate contract terms after receiving internal approvals

· Accountable for achieving new business goals and strategic sales plan

· Help prepare solution-based proposals, deliver presentations to key district personnel, and conduct prompt client follow-up calls and meetings

· Conducts sales hand off to operations team in order to retain strong client relationships to leverage new business opportunities

Adaptability Requirements:

Requires a high degree of adaptability. Work includes constantly shifting priorities, continuous email and voice communication, and frequent interruptions. Incumbent must be able to prioritize and reprioritize continuously and maintain effectiveness in a rapidly changing environment.

Working Conditions:

Work is normally performed in an office environment. Travel may be required by car, plane, or other modes of transportation with potential overnight stays.

Experience and Education:

· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, education, or related field

· Requires 6+ years of successful sales experience in a geographically distributed, relationship-based sales environment.

· Requires experience in long-cycle-time sales, based on a combination of lead-gen and self-gen prospects.

· Experience providing sales strategy and solutions in the K-12 environment highly preferred

· Strong existing network of applicable contacts highly desirable

· Experience with strategic sales of an innovative, digital, game-based, AI curriculum.

· Demonstration of achieving or exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.

· Knowledgeable about Georgia or SE educational environment including budgetary, legislative and operational issues.

· Examples of work with C-Suite and Board level clients.

· Skillful communication, curious disposition and remarkable ability to adapt/pivot.

· Collaborative team player with explorative and open mindset.

· Proven ability to cultivate and nurture long term relationships.

· Experience achieving measurable progress (sales activities, new business growth and renewals).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to internalize and compellingly articulate company/product vision both internally and externally required

· Proficient in selling in a complex, political, and long-term sales process

· Ability to develop internal processes and operations to support new business initiatives required

· Demonstrated skills in designing and implementing successful plans and processes to get new business required

· Strong skills in financial and business analysis required. Ability to develop ROI and break-even analysis for business models required

· Strong presentation skills and the ability to write for, and present to different audiences, including senior level management

· Strong verbal and written communication skills required

· Ability to align and foster teamwork within a diverse group of resources required

· Ability to work independently and with limited supervision required

· Proficient in the use of an office computer and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required

· Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and adapt to an environment with shifting priorities required

· Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills required
