Position Description
The Assistant Property Manager at Dwell at The View plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the property, with a strong focus on leasing, administration, resident relations, property operations, and community building. This position works closely with the Property Manager to ensure the property operates efficiently while providing an exceptional experience for residents.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive professional with strong leasing experience and exceptional administrative skills. The successful candidate must be comfortable managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records, following through on administrative processes, and communicating effectively with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and team members.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdministration & Property Operations
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Property Manager and onsite team.
- Maintain accurate property databases, resident files, records, and documentation.
- Assist with lease administration, renewals, notices, move-ins, move-outs, and tenant transitions.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain property reports, correspondence, and other administrative documentation.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required deadlines.
- Assist with property inspections, follow-up items, and documentation.
- Coordinate and track resident requests, work orders, vendor communication, and property maintenance needs.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Help develop and improve office procedures, systems, and processes to increase efficiency.
- Support the Property Manager with daily operational needs and special projects.
Leasing & Resident Relations
- Leasing experience is required.
- Assist with all aspects of the leasing process, including responding to inquiries, scheduling and conducting tours, processing applications, and following up with prospective residents.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the property, available homes, amenities, pricing, policies, and community offerings.
- Build positive relationships with prospective and current residents through timely, professional, and personable communication.
- Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts.
- Respond to resident questions, concerns, and requests with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
- Help resolve resident concerns and conflicts while maintaining a people-centered approach.
- Follow up consistently to ensure resident issues are addressed and resolved.
- Contribute to maintaining a high level of customer service and resident satisfaction.
Community Building & Team Support
- Prioritize community building and contribute to creating a welcoming, connected environment for residents.
- Support the Community Coordinator with resident engagement initiatives and community projects.
- Participate in and volunteer at scheduled community events.
- Help foster positive relationships among residents, staff, vendors, and the surrounding community.
- Contribute to a collaborative, hardworking, and positive office culture.
- Participate in morning meetings and help make them productive, engaging, and helpful.
- Demonstrate leadership through accountability, follow-through, and a willingness to assist team members.

Qualifications
- Leasing experience is required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in property management, leasing, or an Assistant Property Manager/Assistant Manager role preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple administrative tasks, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with lease administration, resident records, reporting, and property management processes preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Ability to learn and effectively use property management and leasing software.
- Proven ability to manage resident concerns and resolve problems professionally.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
