Full Job Description

30–40 Hours Per Week

We are looking for someone who enjoys helping businesses stay organized, supporting a team, and making sure the details don't fall through the cracks. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in being dependable, enjoys variety in their day, and finds satisfaction in helping people and businesses succeed. You'll play an important role supporting accounting, administrative, and operational functions across several growing businesses. While much of your time will be spent supporting a well-established local company, you'll also have the opportunity to assist other small businesses and clients, making each day a little different. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, works well independently, and values being part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Primary Responsibilities

Accounting Support

Accounts payable processing
Accounts receivable support and collections follow-up
Data entry and record maintenance
Assisting with bookkeeping tasks
Maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting month-end administrative processes

Administrative Support

Organizing digital and physical files
Vendor and client communication
Scheduling and coordination
Assisting team members with administrative requests
Supporting sales, operations, and office staff as needed
Maintaining organized and efficient office systems

General Business Support

Following up on tasks and projects
Assisting with special projects
Supporting multiple businesses and clients
Helping improve processes and create efficiencies
Providing dependable day-to-day operational support

The Ideal Candidate

Highly organized and detail-oriented
Dependable and trustworthy

Learns quickly and works independently
Enjoys solving problems and creating organization
Communicates professionally and effectively
Can manage multiple priorities without constant supervision
Enjoys supporting others and helping businesses operate efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Administrative or office support experience
Strong computer and organizational skills
Experience working in a small business environment is a plus
