As a Senior MES Architect III, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced Proficy Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions. Your expertise will drive operational efficiency, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure seamless system integration. This role demands a blend of technical excellence, customer engagement, and mentorship, making you a key contributor to both project success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. MES Solution Development & Support
- Design and implement robust MES solutions to enhance manufacturing operations.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Commission MES systems at client sites, ensuring smooth integration with existing infrastructure.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to minimize operational disruptions.
2. System Integration & Interoperability
- Ensure seamless communication between MES, ERP, SCADA, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and implement integration solutions that maintain data accuracy and system interoperability.
3. Customer & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored MES solutions.
- Partner with project managers to meet deadlines and deliverables.
- Support the sales team by providing technical expertise in pre-sales activities, including demos, proposals, and RFQs.
4. Mentorship & Training
- Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
- Lead project work / teams
5. Business Development & Pre-Sales Support
- Conduct discovery visits, craft proposals, deliver engaging demonstrations, and participate in pre-sales discussions.
- Expand business opportunities by networking and engaging industry contacts to identify new client needs.
6. Travel Requirements
- Travel up to 20% (domestic and international) to support customer projects and provide on-site assistance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in GE Digital Proficy Plant Applications.
- Strong proficiency in Proficy Historian.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with other MES platforms and related toolsets.
