Full Job Description

Job Specifics:

Location: 2820 Roosevelt Rd, Marinette, WI 54153
FTE Status: Full Time 0.80 FTE (32 hours/week)
Work Schedule: 7:00am-8:00 pm variable, 1 of every 5 weekend

Job Description:

Responsible for performing lab tests, maintaining a safe environment, operating and maintaining lab equipment, collecting and processing specimens, serving as a reference and resource for lab customers. Sets and maintains standards of practice in a lab setting. Performs clerical duties as necessary.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in medical technology, chemistry, physical, or biological science required. Completion of Medical Laboratory Specialist training through the United States Military may be considered in lieu of degree.
American Society Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) registered or American Medical Technologists (AMT) certification required within one year of hire. If military trained, current ASCP certification required upon hire.
One year of experience in healthcare laboratory preferred.
